Dr. Erin Dixon

Dr Erin Dixon is a 2017 graduate of the University of Edinburgh.

Dr Dixon's professional interests lie in helping all kinds of animals, whether they have fur, scales, or feathers. She loves the daily challenges of emergency medicine and is keenly interested in animal behavior, welfare and pain management.

Prior to earning her veterinary credentials, Dr Dixon earned her Bachelor of Science in Marine Environmental Sciences from the US Coast Guard Academy and served as an officer in the United States Coast Guard for five years.

Dr Dixon and her husband share their home with a very good dog named Kit, a not so good dog named Katara and their three cats: Hamish, Ghillie and Matilda. She spends her free time hiking and exploring with her dogs, reading and solving crossword puzzles.
