Dr. Sticker was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS in Animal, Dairy, and Poultry Science, and she then continued her education at LSU's School of Veterinary Medicine, obtaining her DVM. She worked in general practice in Houston after graduating, but discovered her true passion in emergency medicine and decided to make the transition when she moved to Colorado Springs.
She has four rescues at home, including James P. Sullivan a 8-year-old Lab/Pitbull mix, Rudolph a 2-year-old Boxer/Border Collie mix, Panini a 6-year-old Torbie cat, and Squash a 1-year-old tripod Torbie cat. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, painting, and spending time with her fur babies.
